 " Old Students and Villagers Alumni Association " was established at Halugunda Government School in Halugunda village, Kodagu by the villagers and old students of the school on September 25th 2023.

Oor Thakka Mr.Mekerira Raghu, Mr.Mekerira Vijay - President of Aiyappa Temple, Mr. Dinesh, President of halugunda Panchayat, School Head Mistress & others seen on the stage.

The Alumni was formed with a Commitee and Mr. Pandikanda Dinesh will head the Board. members to pay a nominal fee of Rs.300 as per the members gathered decided on the same.
